The Western Rookie Podcast is a combination of passions for hunting the American West and for helping others. The vision is to help everyday hunters and outdoor enthusiasts unlock all the opportunities the west has to offer through story-telling, state-by-state application overviews, tips & tricks, and of course, first hand experience chasing adventures from New Mexico to Montana!

Most of my favorite memories were created in the west - from feeling my chest vibrate while a herd bull bugles at 40 yards, to the adrenaline of racing the sun to pull off a last-evening stalk on a bedded mule deer - and now I am helping folks as they go out and make those same memories. My dream is that one day, listeners also know what it feels like to walk up on a magnifcient animal, grateful that all the hard work to paid off, and realize they just accomplished what very few people in this world ever will.
